Purple and Pink Gradient

Well, no luck at the casino :( Maybe next time, lol.

I will be posting a Cherry Culture haul that I received when I ordered during their Memorial Day 20% Off Sale last week. I Picked up some Jordana brand polishes, and a small makeup order too.  After being in the pool at the casino, my "Vegas" mani, didn't hold up too well.  I couldn't wait to take it off and get some new polish on. I did a quick n easy gradient, not sure if I will add any stamping yet, I'm just enjoying the simplicity for now :)

"Vegas" Mani

Well, not exactly what I pictured in my head, hehe. I wanted to use red, black, and white so this is what I came up with. The stamp image is from Bundle Monster's 1st set BM-19

I'm not going to Vegas anytime soon, but we have a couple days planned at the Harrah's in town. Here's hoping this manicure brings me some luck :)

Beauty Army Kits - Re-purpose Project Complete

I subscribe to a few Beauty Subscription boxes and Beauty Army probably has the best reusable boxes out of all of them.  I received my first kit in January, so I needed 4 boxes to complete this project.  I had it finished and finally got around to getting a pic.

Currently it holds all my samples from Beauty Army, Birchbox, MyGlam and Glossy Box USA when that arrives :)

A couple Birthday cards.

I made these two cards today for some upcoming Birthdays.  Fairly quick and simple.  I'm finding that this is my go-to layout for simple cards. I like the end result though :)

Memorial Day Mani

I planned on a red/white/blue mani last Friday for the long Memorial Day weekend, but veered away and was inspired to create a gradient zebra instead.  Well since that one decided to chip on me, I decided I would go ahead with my original holiday manicure plans :)

 I started with the polka dot version, but ended up being somewhat of a fail. Even some of the stamping on the striped nail wrinkled up on me (twice).  I left it as is, I plan on a Vegas inspired look later on in the week.

So, I promised to take my oldest to Ross today to find a new neon shirt to wear for her last day of school.  Found a shirt, and a few other goodies.

 First off, Essie Matte About You....

I  already have the Konad stamp and scraper, but pink polishes are hard to see on that stamp. I've been looking for a white one, so yeah, this is a good deal. It comes with 5 stamp plates with some cute images.

 Found this cheapie set with some bright frosty colors for $4.99.

 Here they are out of the box.  Sorry, the lighting is awful here.

These 2 are from the Dollar Tree.  They had some other colors that I didn't need, and also some Sally Hansen Insta Dry polishes, that were in colors that I also didn't need, so I passed on those.

Zebra Sunset

I was browsing though all the awesome looks from Heartnat's Blog and this one caught my eye as I was looking to do some kind of gradient again and stamp over it.  Easy Peasy, the original Tutorial was from Rebecca Likes Nails. Looks kinda like a tiger print :)

Started with the gradient.  I used China Glaze Sunshine Pop, NYC Frosty Orange and Wet nWild Lady Luck (the pink is hard to see since it blended so well with the orange, maybe a lighter orange next time.

Then stamped with Konad M57, and topped with Seche Vite.

Little Ulta purchase

Good sale at Ulta on their polishes. Buy 2 get 2, and a redeemed a reward cert. So 5 polishes for $12, not bad.
Also picked up some Essence, love these little polishes. And I've been looking for Revlon's Whimsical for awhile now.

Gold with Silver mani and a card.

This is pretty subtle, and I can't decide if I want to stamp over it. We'll see tomorrow.


Last night I made a card for one of my mom's co-workers who is leaving.  I need to take some time and make up some cards, it's much easier to just add the sentiment when a last minute occasion comes up.
